Dear Editor, I have never submitted a letter to a publication before, but I felt compelled to acknowledge my appreciation for the Okotoks Western Wheel. Your newspaper focuses on the goodness and charity of others; both individual and community.

Dear Editors, I read with great interest the coverage of the “Leaders of Tomorrow” awards. It was so wonderful to hear about the accomplished and kind students who were honoured this year. I wanted to extend my sincerest congratulations.

Dear Editor, I was appalled when I read the article on the Diamond Valley volunteer of the year! Don’t get me wrong, I think he was a great choice! What I couldn’t stand was the article written.

Dear Editor, Logging close to Highwood Junction, where is the sense in that? In your well written article in the April 5 edition it was made pretty clear that Balcaen Consolidated Contracting Ltd. is a company that thinks rules do not apply to them.
