Cindy Holladay — Candidate for Council
I have served on Turner Valley Council for the last five years and have been a resident for 10 years. I have a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Alberta, and was a forensic accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers. I have four kids with my husband James, and I enjoy being involved in local basketball, school and church groups.
There are three areas I believe are important over the next three years. First, finding our new unified identity while respecting our unique history. Second, providing stability and solid leadership within the new Town organization so the full benefits of amalgamation are realized.
Third, strategic planning to prepare for the future and ensure critical infrastructure is properly maintained and funded. I believe Diamond Valley is attractive and thriving, and I want to be part of keeping our positive momentum. I will continue working hard and use my financial skills and governance experience to make decisions that benefit the whole community.
