Brendan Kelly — Council Candidate
Husband and father to my son and daughter. Teacher for 12 years and counting. Majored in English and political science at STU, obtained my bachelor of education and my English as a secondary language degree at UNB. Resident of Black Diamond for the last seven years. Since Facebook doesn’t affect real change in our community, I got involved to make a difference.
Small businesses, communication and moderate growth. Our community is built on small businesses and we need to make sure we keep these families in our community. Moderate growth can be tricky and what does it mean? Focusing on our current infrastructure needs and completing promises like paving roads already in need of it are my top priorities. Before we welcome new development, we need to complete projects already overdue.
Communication is key and was a primary reason I ran in the last election. Since being elected I have made huge strides in reducing misinformation on social media platforms and getting the proper information to you! I look forward to continuing these trends as councillor in Diamond Valley!
