Sheryl Lynn Willoughby, of High River, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on June 23, 2021 at the age of 76 years.
Lynn is survived by her three children: Darcy (Randy) Shore and their children Keiran and Dylan; Marnie Thompson (Gerd Birkle); Todd (Chandra) Curran. Her sisters: Sandy (Gerry) Day and Barb Kumlin as well as several nieces. Lynn was predeceased by her parents Wilma and Gerry Mooney.
Although Lynn had several careers, she was always a teacher. She began teaching in 1967 and was still mentoring new Canadians to improve their English until her disease prevented the meetings. Family and friends, teaching and tulips, travel and teeing, bridge games and books, stitching and scotch – these were a few of her favourite things.
No services will be held. In memory of Lynn, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
