It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Joyce Lorraine Bowlby on April 25, 2024, in Brooks AB.
She was born in Turner Valley AB on February 25, 1944. Mom married the love of her life, Les, on March 10, 1962, in Turner Valley.
She leaves behind three children, Allen (Kathy) Bowlby of Brooks AB, Roy (Nancy) Bowlby of Okotoks AB, and Lorraine (Brad) Cochrane of Cochrane AB. Four grandchildren, Zach (Tia) of Lethbridge AB, Kassidy Bowlby and her fiancé Austin Webber of Lethbridge AB, Chase Bowlby of Okotoks, Ty Bowlby of Okotoks, and two great-grandchildren, Elliott, and Emmett Bowlby of Lethbridge.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband Les Bowlby, on December 19, 2005, her parents Kelly and Hank Stuart, of Black Diamond, her brother Ron Stuart of Edmonton, and her brother Ralph Stuart of Lethbridge.
The funeral was held at Snodgrass Funeral Home, Okotoks on May 1, 2024.
