1948 - 2020
On December 10, 2020 John Bowman of Hartell, beloved brother of Allan Bowman, passed away peacefully at the High River Hospital.
John was predeceased by his parents Jack and Joyce Bowman.
John lived in the Turner Valley area all his life. He worked in the Turner Valley oil and gas field for over 30 years. He also worked on farms and ranches in the area, sometimes as hired help and sometimes just helping friends, if he had his wish, he would have had a farm of his own.
John was a life-long enthusiast of antique vehicles, especially from the 1940s and 1950s. In his young adulthood, he coached minor hockey and was very active in the Turner Valley Legion.
A memorial service will be held for John at a later date when Covid 19 is under control.
