July 21st, 1933 – July 19th, 2022
“I’ve had a great life” Jim said often when
reflecting upon things. “A life well lived”
is a phrase that may seem hackneyed in
some cases, but not in this one. It is certainly
how many of those who knew and loved
him would sum it up. Jim succumbed to
aggressive pancreatic cancer, not how a
cowboy should go.
It was Jim’s wish not to have a funeral
service. A private memorial gathering will
be held in early fall. If you wish to honor his
memory, consider a donation to the Covenant
