April 7, 1943 – December 7, 2020
It is with great sadness we lost a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and most of all, a friend Frederick [Shorty] Soles of Black Diamond, Alberta.
Shorty was born in Golden BC, the youngest of 9 brothers and sisters. Shorty loved to play his guitar and entertain his family and friends. Always ready to tell a joke telling stories about his adventures and he had lots of them, he laugh till he cried.
He will be remember by his loving wife Debbie of 16 years, his son Kevin Soles his daughters Shawna Soles and Christy (Donnie) Black Grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsi, Kierra, Cody and Olivia, Great Akyra and Nora, sister Jean (Gordon) Dakins, brother Mike (Colleen) Soles, mother in-law Julia Lawrence brother in-law David (Naomi) Lawrence, Darrell (Megan) Lawrence and sister in law Deloris (Fred) Gallant and forever remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and most of all his good friends.
Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations in memory of Shorty may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta or to the Donor's Choice.
