Deborah Armitage (born Detje Harmina Jantina Steringa) passed away on June12,2021at South Health Campus Hospital, after a brief illness.
Debbie was deeply loved and will be missed by her husband of 50 years, Herb, as well as her children, their spouses, their grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Vicki, Ian, Lauren, and Shannon; Paula, Val, Brooke, Tyler, Drew and Landon; Joel, Lana, Josh, Caleb, Kai and Luke; Chad, Jamie and Lane. She is also survived by her siblings families: Andy and Grace, Pete, John, Jerry and Janet, Emily and Roger, sisterin-law Eda, and many nieces and nephews, and her extended Armitage family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Pieter and Harmke (Buiter) Steringa, brother Jake and sister Mieke.
As we cannot gather in large numbers, a private service will be held. A reception will take place at a later date.
