April 2, 1939 – August 10, 2022
Mr. Clayton Moncrieff of Cayley, Alberta passed
away at the High River Hospital, surrounded
by his family, on August 10, 2022 at the age
of 83 years. Clayton is survived by his children
Delbert (Linda), Mary, Loretta (Lyle) and Lorne;
8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his
brother Lloyd (Millie) Moncrieff as well as
numerous nieces and nephews. Clayton is also
survived by his companion Margaret Newby.
Clayton was predeceased by his wife Babetta in
2014; his parents and 7 siblings.
Clayton was born in High River and raised
on the farm near Cayley. He married Babetta
in 1960 and they raised their family in the
Cayley area.
Along with his family, music was Clayton’s life
passion. Clayton now joins Babetta and they will
continue to play for the Lord.
A Funeral Service will be held at the High
River Baptist Church on Friday, August 19th at
1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Cayley
Cemetery with reception being held at the
Cayley IOOF Hall.
