Bernice made her journey peacefully surrounded
by love on May 2, 2023.
Bernice was born on May 27, 1926 in Rosemary,
Alberta in a little farmhouse just outside of town.
She grew up there with her mother Blanche,
father Alf and her big brother Justin. She
spent years on the farm and had many family
gatherings with her many aunts, uncles and fun
loving cousins.
Bernice was a loving wife to Alfred Koenig who
passed away February 22, 2003. She was a
beautiful mom, grandma and great grandma to
her family who loved her very much. She always
worked hard and would take the opportunity
to travel anytime it was presented. She was
blessed to have so many special friendships and
loved ones.
Missing her dearly are her children Verg &
Barb Reidlinger and Don & Leslie Reidlinger.
Her grandchildren Laura & Gord Lang, Todd &
Kelly Reidlinger, Trevor & Jodie Reidlinger, Carlie
& Remi Anctil and Taylor Reidlinger. She was
fortunate to have 8 great grandchildren Brielle
& Mikaela Reidlinger, Kassidy, Bailey & Courtney
Lang, Cash Reidlinger and Harrison & Stella
Anctil.
Bernice was blessed to have extended family
that she loved; Bernice’s step-granddaughter
Bonnie Kaufman, her husband Kevin, their
sons Kyle and Dylan and Rosie Koenig all had a
special place in Grandma’s heart.
Our heartfelt love & gratitude goes to The
Heartland Retirement Residence in Okotoks
where Grandma called home for over 8 years.
We are forever grateful to the staff and the
angels who ensured her last days were as
peaceful and comfortable as possible.
There will be a graveside memorial service and
luncheon on Thursday May 18 @ 11:00AM at
Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery 1605,
100 Street SE Calgary.
