Okotoks Fire, RCMP, and Municipal Enforcement were called to the Okotoks Airport for a downed plane on 11 a.m. on Aug. 8.
According to Okotoks Deputy Fire Chief Patrick MacIsaac, the plane had to make an emergency landing in the field north of the runway shortly after takeoff.
The two occupants of the aircraft were assessed by EMS but were found to be in good health.
The Transportation Safety Board has been called to investigate.
