The world's largest free art drop is scheduled for tomorrow, and artists are leaving hints where to find and keep their creations.

International Art & Found Day is coming to the Foothills on March 12. Six Okotoks artists and one from Diamond Valley will be joining 1,421 artists from 50 countries taking part in the fourth annual International Art and Found Day, and the number of artists worldwide continues to grow.

The event has participating artists create original artwork and hide it somewhere in their community. To help participants out, they will be leaving hints on social media.

"I will be hiding two watercolour paintings in Okotoks," said participating artist Renee Carrier.

"Tuesday I am hoping to post some clues and then go out and make a couple of videos to guide art finders. The clues and videos will both be posted on social media."

Carrier's Facebook and Instagram are attached.

"I love the opportunity to pay it forward, spread some of my happiness and hopefully make someone else happy too," added Carrier. "I really think it's just a joyful thing to do and I love that."

Other artists will be posting hints online as well.
