Could it be that Town councillors were not wise enough to realize the ramifications of their approval votes?

Preserving a desired moment in time is not that simple because even if you're able to do so in one place, it marches on all around you. 

Okotoks projects could find it difficult to secure funding as premier announces need for belt-tightening prior to Alberta provincial budget.

These are human beings with aspirations and hopes like anyone else, but who innocently fall into the grips of one of the worst addictions in our society. 

What a shame that a successful fundraiser to help a member of the community was quashed because of a few busybodies.

I can name off the top of my head right now 15 places of employment right here in Okotoks. Yes, it's minimum wage, but it's a job. 

We’re fortunate to live in a country where the rule of law still stands — at least for now. 

Over the years, our travels have taken us to some big-time tracks like Santa Anita and Del Mar in California as well as some decidedly smaller venues like the Crooked River Roundup in Prineville, Oregon.

Some very prudent outdoor water use will be necessary this year. 

They called for the creation of some sort of shelter to allow them and others to get out of the often-bitter Alberta cold.
