Our Thanksgiving dinner is set for Sept. 29 and is open to all members.
Tickets are available this week.There will be entertainment by MzBehavin from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. A silent auction is planned in conjunction with this event. I’ll let you know when you can start bringing your gently used donations.
Griffiths Centre is having a fall supper on Sept. 9. At last report there were a few tickets left. I’m wondering why they chose a Monday. Oh well, I guess we do eat dinner every night of the week, so why not Monday?
Thank you to Barry for trimming the crabapple tree, I didn’t know we had an arbourist in our midst. What a great job.
Our sad news is that Joan Cox slept away on the morning of Aug. 26. We will all miss her so much. Rest well, beloved friend.
