The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program in Diamond Valley is offering help on two fronts.
This week, in-person clinics will be held on Thursday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sheep River Library.
Volunteers can assist individuals with a simple tax situation and modest income. In addition, there is drop-off service available from the front desk of the Town of Diamond Valley office with the Family and Community Support Services coordinator organizing the pick-up and drop-off services with volunteers.
The Town said the service is not extended to returns for self-employment income, employment expenses, business or rental income, or returns for deceased individuals or those who have filed bankruptcy.
For more information, contact Suzan at the Town at [email protected] and 403-933-4348.
The income tax filing deadline is Tuesday, April 30.
