The greatest show on snow returns to the Millarville Racetrack tomorrow.
Skijordue 2024 combines the sport of horse-drawn skiing, or skijor, with fondue for a made-in-Alberta experience.
The event is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Over 100 competitors will take part in four main categories: circuit, relay, sprint and long jump.
The horses may be the main attraction, but spectators so hungry they could eat a horse can enjoy the event's signature cuisine, featuring gourmet fondue, bratwurst, poutine and more. And don't forget about the craft beers and signature spirits.
Outside of horses and food, the event will also feature the Spectator Skijorstyle fashion show and an après-ski party.
