Okotoks and Turner Valley held fireworks shows to help celebrate the New Year.
In Turner Valley, the Diamond Valley New Year's Eve Celebration included many activities to celebrate the last day of the year and the unification of the Towns of Black Diamond and Turner Valley, to become Diamond Valley, on Jan. 1. Activities in Turner Valley will continue until 1 a.m. with the Diamond Valley Dazzle - Games Night Gala put on by the Diamond Valley Sustainable Living Centre at the Flare n' Derrick hall.
