The Town of Diamond Valley announced Feb. 28 that Adam Davey has been named as its new chief administrative officer.

Davey is a former army officer with Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, who most recently served as the director of public safety and community services with the City of Prince George.

"I am very excited to serve the mayor and council and the community of Diamond Valley,” Davey said. “What a privilege to help lead the Town through its next phase of growth. The future is very bright for Diamond Valley."

Davey begins work on March 1.

"On behalf of the council and staff, we would like to welcome Mr. Davey to Diamond Valley and are very excited to continue to deliver on Council's strategic priorities," said Mayor Barry Crane.

"We'd also like to thank Mr. Todd Sharpe for his excellent service while serving as interim CAO during the search for our permanent CAO," Crane added.
