Your Living Space – Elevated

Mike Bouchard, the founder and CEO of Elevation Renovations, has more than two decades of experience, a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter designation, and a Project Management Professional Certificate that underpin his expertise on every project. More importantly, however, he and his team simply love what they do and take the time to clearly communicate with homeowners to ensure each project meets – and exceeds – expectations.

“Our work speaks for itself,” smiles Bouchard. “Our jobs are unique to customer requirements and I am happy to accept both positive and constructive feedback. On a project site, things can be delayed or the homeowner may want sudden changes. We accommodate our clients by handling changes smoothly and also by helping them with interior design. Our clients put a lot of trust in us and we respond by taking their vision from concept to completion, on time and on budget while making the process as stress-free as possible.”

His project management experience comes into play. Bouchard plans out every renovation to ensure the homeowner can still have functionality while the projects take place. For example, if a bathroom is being renovated, does the homeowner have another one to use? If it’s a kitchen, where can temporary food prep stations be set up in the home?

Elevation Renovations offers many services, including decks, basements, and kitchens. However, the company is best known for its innovations in bathroom renovations.

“I am very proud of our development of curbless showers,” says Bouchard. “We really take our time to get it right, including modifying the flooring. The tile has to be perfect to avoid moisture pooling. In addition to a spa-like bathroom look and feel, curbless showers transform the space into a wheelchair accessible wet room – and not many renovators can professionally do wet rooms. Wet rooms are great for modernizing a home, for seniors with limited mobility, and for homeowners looking to age in place. A curbless shower renovation is practical and functional, but also beautiful and stylish.”

Clients love the flexibility that Elevation Renovations provides, and they also love the direct interaction with the team.

Bouchard explains. “If a $500 toilet was budgeted for but the homeowner selects one for $300, the budget goes down. Or, they can apply the difference to a different product or design aspect.”

Whether he and his team are installing the high-quality drain systems he sources in Europe, showing homeowners how automation can keep their homes cleaner and help prevent moisture buildup in bathrooms, or having a client show them pictures of their dream home and then making a plan to match, the focus is on one aspect – the customer.

“We help people. We solve their problems. We communicate openly so they know what to expect, when things will arrive, what they cost, etc. We are active and agile and on site and willing to change things up as we go.”

Homeowners agree and have voted for Elevation Renovation in Readers’ Choice awards, resulting in silver wins for the company.

Bouchard invites homeowners to take a look at the services offered and in particular, learn how a bathroom renovation can positively impact your well-being, the home’s value, the ability to age-in-place, and more. He is pleased to have a locally owned and operated company that is changing lives in the community. Visit Elevation Renovations online and on Facebook to learn more.
