GALLERY: Community comes out to Clean Up

Volunteers pitched in to toss out as the Okotoks Community Clean Up returned May 7, with 20 zones across town to tidy up litter.

Volunteers pitched in to toss out as the Okotoks Community Clean Up returned May 7, with 20 zones across town to tidy up litter. PPE such as gloves were provided and the tree planting went ahead in Sheep River Park, with over 1200 saplings going into the ground.

The helpers even got some supervision from the local wildlife:

And it wasn't just grown-ups pitching in during the clean up:

Some volunteers got inventive, using Bird e-scooters to get around quicker. The scooters were free for the day, and complementary helmets were provided:
