Our help still needed

It may seem as though the worst is behind us, Okotoks, your support is still needed. Most people have been allowed back into their homes in High River, but the picture looks more bleak then ever.

With the flood disaster still ongoing mostly in High River it has put a lot of extra people on the streets of Okotoks. Residents of High River continue to pick up their mail in Okotoks and often you will see long lineups stretching down the street.

Our spring-cleaning morning went very well, we had nine willing workers. Thanks to Gord McLachlan for cleaning the outside of the windows on Tuesday. Philip followed up on the inside and they look great.

There was plenty of opportunity to wear yourself out this past weekend with so much activity going on. From the breakfast downtown on Saturday morning to the final pitch on Sunday afternoon it was non stop fun.
