Needless to say, the wedding of the decade was awesome. The service was lovely, dinner was delicious, catered by Rusty Spur, we had a great D.J. and we even got to dance.

Change comes quickly in politics. Most of us get a sense that it’s coming but never fully expect or understand it no matter how smart or in tune we consider ourselves. Ralph Klein’s group knew that time was running out.

Games night did not prove to be popular, so it will be discontinued. Can’t say we didn’t give it the old college try. Floor curling is over until the second week in September.

Can you believe another month is on the way out? I can’t even remember what happened to March. However, the days are getting longer, the gardens are beginning to bloom and our resident eagle is nesting. Spring is awesome.

This time next week we will know who is the Alberta party in charge. One thing I learned last provincial election is not to believe the polls as we were led to believe that the Wildrose would form the government.
