Valley Neighbours Club news

Our Easter dinner was wonderful. Our compliments go to Duncan, once again. The decorations were lovely and we had the addition of wine with our dinner, thanks to the tenacity of Don Thomson who wouldn’t give up.

He bought wine glasses, put them through the dishwasher and boxed them for storage.

Spring is officially here. I plan to plant the sweet peas next week.

Gord Dogger has brought me half a roll of chicken wire and Randy has cheerfully agreed to help me staple it to the fence, so I’m all set.

I can hardly wait to see how the perennials fared over the winter.

There will be no afternoon bingo on Good Friday and the next bingo will be April 1.

There is no floor curling on Easter Monday and, as usual, if anyone shows up for euchre, we’ll have a game.

I wish you a safe and blessed Easter with family and friends.
