The Thanksgiving dinner on Oct. 5 will be potluck. Members can pick up their free tickets from Pat or Dale. Line dancing starts on Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. Come join us. It’s fun and the price is right – a Loonie a lesson.
The Historic Home Tour in High River on Saturday was awesome. We saw eight homes and a beautiful church. We toured W. O. Mitchell’s former home, which was actually slated to be demolished following last year’s flood. It has been restored and it is so beautiful.
The Red Deer Lake United Church 2014-15 concert guide is out. They have concerts slated for October, January, March and May. Oct. 24 will feature The Foothills Brass Quintet. We drove out to Kananaskis Country on Sunday to see the fall colors, and we were not disappointed. They were outstanding.
