As I write this column, I am sitting in Gloria's kitchen in Phoenix. I have been picking oranges, there are hummingbirds everywhere and it is plus 21. Another day in paradise.
I’ve spent the most amazing Christmas in the sun, but I'll be home to spend New Year's Eve with friends in Turner Valley.
Mark your calendars for the annual meeting on Jan. 30. This is a change from Jan. 23, so make a note of the change. There will be a potluck luncheon at noon with the meeting to follow. We have several new names on the nominating committee's list, so please come and voice your approval or not. The executive meeting will be on Jan. 16 at noon.
All activities will resume on the week of Jan. 6.
