The information in the High Country News concerning St. George’s rummage sale is in error. Isobel tells me they are not having a sale this year at all.

The documentary film featuring our own local cowboy poet will air in November. Tickets for Doris Daley’s film are available at our library, but call soon because tickets won’t last long. The showing at Sheep River Library is set for Nov. 22.

The railings are up and painted and they were kind enough to paint the pipe fence as well. It all looks very nice and so much safer for our members.

Paul Rumbolt’s concert on Thursday was really enjoyable. His two backup singers were Eva Levesque’s kids. She must be very proud of them; they are incredibly talented and very entertaining.

Our Wednesday afternoon bridge pre-Christmas luncheon is set for November 27. Anyone who has played with us on Wednesday afternoon is most welcome to join us. There is a sign up sheet at VNC. Come join us any Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m.
