I am so thrilled to read about Mary Jo Birrell’s book, “The Wind God”. Mary Jo lives at the Rising Sun and has written a true to life novel about her great grandmother. The book is available at Chapters and Amazon.com. What a great Christmas gift idea.

When have you seen our fall colours so amazing? I have taken so many pictures and I can’t imagine what Kananaskis Country is like with all the larches in colour against the background of the evergreens.

Our new sidewalks are in and they started working on the railings on Thursday.

My Thanksgiving was so awesome, dinner with all of my sister’s family on Sunday and a repeat at my daughters on Monday. Life is good.

The date for the Okotoks & District’s bridge luncheon, mentioned in last week’s column, was in error. The correct date is Nov. 16 and the notice is on the board.
