It’s not too early to start thinking about your Samaritan’s Purse Christmas child shoeboxes. There is a supply of boxes on the counter at VNC. Please stop in and start the process of making a kid smile.
We also have a year-round food bank receptacle that has been, sadly, mostly empty all summer and don’t forget the Lion’s eye glasses drop box for your no longer used glasses.
Four of our members are patients at Oilfields Hospital. I’m sure any one of them would welcome a visit. Joan Cox is well on her way to recovery, for which we are truly grateful.

The Millarville racetrack community garage sale will be held rain or shine, at the racetrack indoor arena on Sunday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
