The garden club welcomed Barry Crane on Thursday. He gave us the latest information on the Lion’s spray park. The goal is to have the park operational by the May 24, 2014 weekend. If enthusiasm will get it built, it’s a done deal.

I’m sure you have noticed our sidewalk and handrail project still has not happened, Don tells me it will be started this week.

I’m finding John’s editorials about “roughing it” very entertaining. I wish he could have spent a summer with us at Little Dall Lake. One of our hunters made the mistake of saying that his idea of roughing it was using paper napkins. It was interesting to see him come back from 13 days on the trail with the South Nahanni Boys.

Gloria and I drove to Lethbridge on Saturday to spend the day with Loraine, Holly and Chase. What a great day, that little boy is getting very independent and totally lovable.
