Our spring-cleaning morning went very well, we had nine willing workers. Thanks to Gord McLachlan for cleaning the outside of the windows on Tuesday. Philip followed up on the inside and they look great.

The trip to Coaldale and Lethbridge on Thursday was a long day, but from all accounts, most enjoyable.

Once again, Lona’s crew did a bang up job of the annual bridge luncheon. We had 15 tables of bridge and lunch was delicious. The door prizes, donated by our local businesses were impressive. We get such wonderful support from these folks. All the more reason to shop locally. The top bridge winner was Mary Hardy, second was Don Thomson and third was June McGillivray. The hidden score winner was Isobel Leman and Vivien Pippus was the lucky 50/50 winner.

Ted Menzies’ meet and greet has, once again, been cancelled, so we will forego the pleasure of his visit until another time.
