Our line dance windup will be following dancing on May 9. Anyone who has danced with us this season, and their significant other, is warmly welcome to join us.

The garden club members are invited to meet at VNC at 1:30 p.m. on May 9 for a field trip to Spirit Hills Winery.

If you would like to watch a moving video, go to YouTube and type in “The Gift of an Ordinary Day”. It will make you cry, and it will, for sure, make you count your blessings.

A rummage sale with a twist will be held at St. George’s on April 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The twist is that all items are free with monetary donations accepted.

Don’t forget the VNC executive meeting at noon on the April 25.

Sixteen of us attended the Windmill Theatre presentation in High River on Saturday evening. Dinner was delicious, but the drive home was treacherous.

Miracle of miracles, I have two pair of crossbills at my feeder. I have only seen this species once before, in northern BC. They are so beautiful. The legend goes that these birds tried to pull the nails from Christ’s hands and feet and they pulled so hard, their beaks became twisted.
