Okotoks & District Seniors Club will be hosting a bridge tournament on May11. There is a poster on the board with all pertinent information. If we expect their club to support our bridge luncheon, in all fairness, we should support theirs. It is always fun and lunch is delicious.

Due to the very poor attendance at general meetings, it has been decided general meetings will be held bimonthly in future. Therefore, the next meeting will be June 6 at 1 p.m.

There is a tentative trip planned for May 23. We hope to visit the Raptor and Birds of Prey Center in Coaldale and perhaps take in the Japanese Gardens after lunch. More info as soon as plans are firmed up.

The Garden Club will meet at VNC on April 11 at 1:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be an expert on growing potatoes.

I travelled to Lethbridge on the weekend, and was surprised at the lack of waterfowl in the wetlands. Perhaps it is too early in the season. I had a lovely weekend with my southern family.
