This time you have a chance to win $500 if you vote for your favourite businesses in the annual Best of the Foothills contest sponsored by the Western Wheel. Businesses come and businesses go so every year our favourites have to go up against some new competition.
We have tried to make it easy for you to enter. Go to our website at: www.westernwheel.com and click on contests at the top.
This will take you to the Best of ballot and then fill in the blanks as best you can and when you get to the end click on submit and your choices will be entered. Plus you will be entered to win $500 in Wheel bucks to be spent locally.
Businesses are also encouraged to get their clients to enter as well.

Well, we may have been praying for some moisture but did it all have to fall on our Parade of Garage Sales Day?
Saturday was a cool one for sure but we hope that didn’t dampen your spirits to get out there and find some bargains. Now it’s time to plant the garden as summer is only one month away.

We need to get the yard work done now as the Okotoks Dawgs season opener is less than two weeks away. Friday June 5th vs Medicine Hat.
Rumour has it that the Dawgs will have an awesome season so let’s get ready to cheer them on. Also, many additions and changes to the facility over the winter has Seaman Stadium more ready than ever to give the fans a great experience.
