Well Santa will have no problem getting around this Christmas as we got hit with quite a winter storm on Monday.
The high winds caused severe drifting and made the commute to work on Tuesday a challenge for all of us.

Thought you would like to know the Salvation Army is having difficulty filling our their kettle shifts for the Christmas season.
Each shift represents about $300 towards the campaign. Did you know the Salvation Army is one of the top charitable organizations in North America when it comes to total dollars raised and the amount that goes to the cause? Anyway, the Salvation Army could really use our help this Christmas and has two hour shifts available at a couple locations. If you are interested in helping out please contact Sara Poffenroth at 403-975-7280. It is a gratifying experience to ring the bell and see the wonderful donations come forward.

I was thinking on the weekend while I was out buying a few things how fortunate we are in this area not to have to travel to the city to buy stuff. In our Foothills area around Okotoks we pretty much can buy any product we want. I hate fighting the crowds in a crowded mall. Did you see the people fighting over products during the Black Friday weekend? How crazy is that?
