The Christmas lights bus tour is a go for Dec. 11. Mary Anne would like to have your $10 in by Dec. 5.
The bus will leave the VNC at 6 p.m. and don’t forget a toonie for the driver.
The Sound of Music was quite lovely.
There were 20 people on the bus and, despite the nasty weather, we arrived and returned safely, enjoyed a delicious dinner and a stellar performance. Alyshia-Grace Hobday, who played Maria, has the most amazing voice.
The Valley Neighbours garden club will meet on Dec. 11 at 1:30 p.m. and our December project is to make a Christmas centerpiece.
There will be no charge for members and, don’t forget, if you are a Valley Neighbours member you are automatically a garden club member. Bea would appreciate knowing if you will be participating so that she can order sufficient greenery. Her number is 403-933-7131.
Our line dancers will have their windup luncheon on Dec. 18. We have upwards of 18 dancers this year and it is a lot of fun. New members are always welcome. Come join us in the new year.
