From the number of phone calls I‘ve received on the subject, it would appear that everyone in town reads my column. Be assured that Donna Armstrong is well and healthy and Donna Sharp is back in Oilfields.

Daylight savings time happens on Nov. 6, so remember to turn your clock back an hour. I’m turning mine back 20 years.

The Millarville Hort Club will hold its annual meeting at the church house on Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Membership is only $15 and the information garnered is worth every penny.

Once again, I was disappointed not to have any little visitors on Halloween night.

Tickets for our Christmas party on Dec. 4 are ready for pick up. Duncan is catering. The dinner and tickets are $20 for members only.

St. George’s Anglican Church in Turner Valley is having its annual tea and bake sale on Nov. 5 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

I hope to see all your smiling faces at the last general meeting of 2016 on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. We may even generate a bridge game after the meeting.
