News from the Valley Neighbours Club

I had a visit with Donna last week. It was so nice to see her. There are some things she loves about her new digs and some not so much, but she’s adapting and things will become more familiar as time goes by.

I had a visit with Donna last week. It was so nice to see her. There are some things she loves about her new digs and some not so much, but she’s adapting and things will become more familiar as time goes by. We are not adapting as well as we miss her so much.

The hail did such a number on our planters at VNC and Monday’s cloudburst added to the wreck. I have replanted all three, added new soil and, hopefully, we’ll be able to add more plants as they become available. It’s not the best time to plant perennials, but perhaps we can go to some succulents that don’t take so much water.

The sweet peas are beginning to bloom in the courtyard and they are adding some color to the overall effect.

Donna gave us a Feng Shui stepping stone and I had one, as well, so I have placed them in front of the bench. As soon as Randy has time, he will paint the pipe fence and our green space will be looking good.
