We made a profit of close to $500 on the silent auction which was held in conjunction with our Easter dinner.

As most of you know, I am a huge proponent of Samaritan’s Purse.

Their water filter program is another of their humanitarian projects and they are making a world of difference (no pun intended), Biosand filters, invented in Canada, are being installed in the third world and are benefitting 1.5 million people.

More than 600 million people are drinking tainted water every day. Someone dies every 24 seconds from drinking polluted water and a great many of these are children.

The eagles are nesting in their old nest in my neighbourhood, I’ve seen my first robin and the tulips are up four inches.
