Mark your calendar for Sept. 3 at 1 p.m. for the first general meeting of the fall season.
I’m sure we will have lots of things to discuss as we haven’t had a meeting since June.
Exercise classes begin Sept. 15. There is a sign-up sheet on the board or call Fritz (403-933-7404) if you interested.
Floor curling starts on Sept. 14. We still need a couple of players to make up 12 teams, so please let Philip know if you would like to try out a new sport by calling 403-933-7991.
Whist will resume on Sept. 15, bingo on Sept. 11 and line dancing gets back in the swing on Sept. 24.
I took down the hummingbird feeders on Sunday. The Rockies are white, the poplars along the river are turning color and the fall asters are blooming, so chances are pretty good that fall is just around the corner and Friday’s snowstorm confirmed it.
