Just a reminder about our annual 80 and over birthday party. The deadline to let us know of anyone with a five-year increment birthday is May 1.

Everyone is welcome to attend the party on May 24. Admission is $5 with free admission to anyone over 80.
The Millarville Hort club meeting was a disappointment. Merle Combs came to talk to us about perennials, but his power point wasn’t compatible with our equipment. He will try again at the June meeting.
He graciously fielded questions from the group, which was helpful in some respects, but we look forward to seeing his slides in June.
Thanks to Fritz and Hugh the shed in the compound has been moved. Now we can get on with the beautification project, which should begin next week.
The annual euchre tournament for the Gordon Richmond memorial trophy will begin on May 4 and extend for a three week period.
Floor curling winds up on April 27 with the last round of playoffs, followed by a pot luck luncheon.
We are all deeply sadden at the passing of Joan Clark. We will miss her so much.
