Virginia has drafted an informative brochure for our club, you may be receiving one in your mailbox very soon. If you are new to town or have lived here for a time and now find you have time to socialize, check us out. I have seen many friendships formed over the years through interaction at Valley Neighbours. Someone once asked me what being a Valley Neighbours Club member is like and I could only compare it with belonging to a family.

Fourteen of us attended the High River Friendship Club’s bridge tournament on Thursday and congratulations go to Steve and Ross who brought home a pocket full of prize money. We all had a very good time and lunch was delicious.

The courtyard project is still on track. We met with Patty Webb on Saturday, she has consented to help us with planning the perennial garden. If you have seen her garden you will realize how fortunate we are to have her expertise.

For those who have signed up for the Windmill Theatre, Mary Anne would like to have your money in by March 27. Just make your check out to Valley Neighbours Club and pin it on the events board if you don’t see Mary Anne on a regular basis.

We send get well wishes to Wilma Chalmers.
