Sheep Creek Arts Council has an extensive roster of courses available. Its membership appreciation and registration evening is Jan. 14 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

You are welcome to come for coffee and free draws.

You might like to investigate what the Griffiths Center has to offer.

It serves a delicious breakfast five days a week and wonderful dinners on occasion, and, of course, our Valley Neighbours have activities going on six days a week. New members are always welcome.

There’s no excuse not to get out and enjoy our Diamond/Valley experience.

The garden club meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 14 will feature a round table discussion on feeding the birds.

Dale has booked 20 tickets for the Feb. 24 Stage West performance of Suite Surrender.

There is a sign-up sheet for members on the bulletin board. The cost for bus, tickets and lunch is $50.

Good news: Our OAS cheque will see an increase of 57 cents this month. Don’t spend it all in one place.

You will not see another February like next month in which there are four Sundays, four Mondays, four Tuesdays, four Wednesdays, four Thursdays, four Fridays and four Saturdays. This happens once every 823 years.
