Dear Editor,
I am so sorry to hear that Bruce Campbell is leaving the Wheel.
But I can totally understand it. Bruce is an amazing writer. I could tell in the first paragraph it was a Bruce article and I was reading on. He gave interesting and honest insights. You could feel and understand the topic as you read it. He asked the right questions to make the story come alive, and he always had a relatable quip to make it personal.
I’ve known Bruce since his High River Times days and have seen how hard he works all the time.
He would show up unexpectedly and always followed up any story you mentioned to him. Bruce was a big part of both communities and would take the time to visit with anyone. Thanks for being there for us, Bruce. You are the best and we appreciate it.
