Dear Editor,

I will miss seeing the writings of two excellent journalists at The Wheel who have now (moved on).

Bruce Campbell’s keen leadership — so evident in the countless public events he attended to get in touch with his readers. He wrote with clarity, truthfulness, and never to get a dramatic impact from headlining bad news.

There was wit and wisdom which he shared with us — and there was often his “reason for existing” gently, lovingly mentioned. Thank you Bruce.
Krista, I so appreciated you sharing your family’s year of home schooling, and then the off-and-on back to school — such an understanding insight of what many families were going through.

You were always empathetic in your reporting — and as you said you laughed and cried with many of the folks you interviewed.

We have always had good reporters in our Okotoks Western Wheel, and still have excellent staff — all of whom I enjoy reading!

It was good to see a guest contribution by Bruce after he left the captain’s chair, so maybe we will still see some of your writing — even though you have moved on in your interesting life activities.

All best wishes to both you and Krista and families. Thanks to both of you.
