Dear Editor,
I have always been under the impression that we are living in a democracy, but lately this seems more like a communist system.
Twice the public has voted in plebiscites for or against amalgamation for the two towns and twice the result has been negative.
Now, the councils, in their wisdom, they have taken it upon themselves for or against our votes.
I guess the people who I had faith in and voted for the mayor and council do not care for what the public wants?
