With heavy hearts our family announces the sudden passing of Terry Williams in Chiang Mai, Thailand on January 11, 2020, at the age of 64. Left behind are his cherished sons, James, David, Robert and Richard, grandson Theo, and wife Wendy Edgecombe. Also mourning his loss are his brother Dwayne (Cindy), sisters Gail Morgan (John) and Sheilla Neufeld (Jerry), and their children, as well as the entire Edgecombe Clan. Terry was pre-deceased by his parents, James and Elfreda, and his in-laws, Don and Velma.

Terry was born September 9, 1955 in Edmonton and raised in Sexsmith before settling into business life in Grande Prairie. It was there that he met Wendy and together they traveled to many parts of the world before settling down in Calgary, where James and David were born. In 1990 they moved to Priddis where they grew to a family of six with the arrivals of Robert and Richard.

Terry will be remembered fondly as a deeply loving father—one that did not shy from the gritty nuance of raising four distinct personalities. He was a man of sharp wit, a boisterous laugh and remarkable stories, the likes of which were hallmarks of Edgecombe family functions. He saw merit in people where it was often overlooked, happier to trade his recyclables for a good story than a dollar.

A memorial will be held in Okotoks Saturday, February 22 , at the Crystal Shores Beach House at 1pm. 403 Milligan Drive, Okotoks
