On September 3, 2022 in Banff Alberta,
Ryden William Brogden passed away at the
young age of 27 years old. Ryden was born
December 26, 1994 in Calgary, Alberta and
lived in Priddis his entire life. Sadly Ryden’s
life was tragically taken from his family and
friends much too soon. Loved ones left to
mourn are his parents, Bev and John Brogden,
two younger siblings; Connor (Julia) and
Shaelynn, Grandmother Janet, his special
Aunts, Uncles and cousins and many great
friends who were family to him. Ryden was a
kind soul who loved all things living and was an
avid outdoorsman. He had a strong passion for
fly fishing and photography – both of which he
was brilliant at. Ryden worked for High Country
Vac Services – his second family. He was very
athletic and over the years played hockey, golf,
soccer, lacrosse, baseball, did track and field he
enjoyed family trail rides and was a member
of 4-H Beef. His love for animals was evident
in his admiration for his two dogs – Lewis and
Rusty AKA “Russel Pussel”, who he loved dearly
and took with him where ever he could, which
included many adventures up the mountains or
on the river. We welcome all who were a part
of his life and loved Ryden to come and share
memories at the Bragg Creek Community Hall
on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 2:30pm.
