It is with unimaginable sadness that the family of Ron Pilon announce his passing at the age of 69 years, after losing a continuous and courageous battle with cancer.
Ron was an immensely caring, generous, kind, patient without judgement and honorable man. He was hard working, lived his life always helping others and always willing to go the extra mile not just for his multitude of treasured lifetime friends, but for anyone in need. He was a private man who will be remembered for his great sense of humour, wit on the golf course, kind heart and the unconditional love he had for all animals, which was returned in kind.
Ron would always say “My idea of heaven is to get there and find every dog I’ve ever loved waiting for me”.
He was the best husband, father, and papa anyone could ask for. Ron is survived by his loving wife Sheila of 47 years; his beloved children: Michelle (Mike), Justin (Rebecca); his treasured grandchildren: Mercedes, Mitchell, Mikey, Kyena, Sayjah; his sister Sheryl (Keith); special sister-in-law and brother-in-law Maureen (Joe), and his fur baby Max.
He was predeceased by father Lucien, sister Sharon, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Marilyn, niece Tracy, mother and father-in-law.
In accordance with Ron’s wishes there will be no service.
