Roma was born to Alvin and Karen (Cutting) Waddell on July 28, 1962 in Calgary, AB and passed away January 22, 2020 at 2:15 am in High River, AB.
Roma was born and raised on the family farm at Red Deer Lake. She attended Red Deer Lake School and graduated from Bishop Grandin High School in 1980. Roma worked at RDL meats for 8 yrs., then changed paths to fulfill her passion of working with horses at Griffin Quarter Horses in De Winton, AB where she worked for 10 yrs., and became part of the family, she then worked for Scott Young in Okotoks, AB for 6 yrs.
In 2011, she moved to High River with her Dad.
Roma was predeceased by her Mom (Karen) in 2000 & her fur-baby Patches, in 2016. Survivors include her dad (Alvin), Brother (Roger), Sister (Betty Dancy), Niece (Danielle Dancy), and her fur-baby Buster, lifelong family friends Peter and Sheila Macklin, her best friend of 40 yrs. Karen Banks, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

As per Roma’s wishes there will not be a funeral, but a come & go Celebration of Life which will be held: Saturday, June 27, 2020 1pm – 5pm at 22 Pekisko Rd SW High River, AB.
